After selling our beloved Fuso, we wanted something a bit smaller and more manageable for off-roading and taking into tight cities along the Pan-American. We also wanted a few more drivability features, specifically an automatic transmission. We settled on the F-350 platform, and found a nice used model in Salt Lake City, with an aluminum flatbed already installed.

In the fall of 2024, we prepared the chassis for full-time travel, meanwhile, Phoenix Campers, in Denver Colorado was building out a camper to put on the back. We married the two in January of 2025, and have been on the road in this rig ever since.
